Edmée Guyon in her Paris studio.
To get to Edmée's studio,
you have to walk through a narrow hallway that will lead you to a garden full
of blooming camellias. She planted them 40 years ago when she first moved here. This is where she creates
perfect, beautiful, abstract forms that are then cast into bronze.
The
singularity of Edmée Guyon’s work lies in its capacity to carry us away
into a world of becoming, a never-ending 'movement towards’. Her work
conveys a spiritual impetus that speaks of transformation into a more
intense, more joyous sense of being. (Ref.)
