My works combine traditional craft techniques and are tinged with a concern for applied and well-executed manual work. I advocate slow working methods, preferring analog technologies to their contemporary equivalents, and conscientious elaboration, in response to the accelerated pace of work prescribed by today's growth ideology of life. Through sculpture, installation, printed art and artist's books, I address themes of language, intimacy and resilience.
